Daniel Padilla, Kathryn Bernardo talk about ‘marriage deal’

Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla didn’t shy away from discussing plans about getting married and having their own family.

In Kathryn’s vlog released on Valentine’s Day, February 14, she decided to throw questions at Daniel or DJ she had never dared to ask him before.

“We’ve been together for nine years now and I realized ang dami ko pa palang di natanong kay DJ na random questions. Hopefully after this mas makilala ko pa siya lalo,” she said at the beginning of the video.

One of the questions she asked Daniel was if there were times he regretted that they met and became a couple at a young age.

Kathryn pointed out that they first knew each other when she was only 16 and he was 17.

“Di ah!” Daniel said.

Also with me. Di ka naka-date with other girls, di ka naka-party…”

Daniel argued that he got to do those things even before they entered a relationship, at the same time, he hasn’t miss out on anything in life while they’re together.

Kathryn echoed the same answer of not having any regrets but she did think that Daniel would entertain such thoughts sometimes.

“Baka mamaya sabihin mo sa akin, ang aga kasi natin naging tayo, ang dami kong di nagawa sa life ko or something. Sometimes, I think of that,” she said.

Ano yun? Isang araw na kasiyahan lang yun.”

She also asked Daniel if he ever gets offended whenever she said she’s “not ready and wants to do many things first” whenever she gets asked about marriage plans.

“Di naman,” Daniel admitted. “Ayoko rin naman madaliin.”

Kathryn said, “Because you respect my ano rin na I have a lot of things to do pa. Ang dami ko pang gustong gawin pa.”

Daniel agreed but hinted that they shouldn’t delay plans too much either.

Tandaan niyo yan, minsan puro nalang tayo, gusto natin ‘to, gusto pa natin gawin ‘to. Magigising ka na lang, naiwan na ako,” he said.

“So whenever I’m ready? Sabihin mo, ‘Whenever you’re ready, love’,” Kathryn said.

Daniel agreed that it will happen whenever they both are ready. However, he reminded Kathryn of their “marriage” deal.

Kathryn, 24, also asked Daniel, 25, how many kids does he want to have with her in the future.

Daniel revealed, “Siguro mga two.”

“I like two din,” she agreed, adding that she wants a boy first and then a girl.
