Just five years ago, TV host Bianca Gonzales and basketball player JC Intal tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at Palawan.
Bianca revealed yesterday, December 5, that she and JC renewed their vows as husband and wife. Only this time, it’s in the presence of their two daughters Lucia and Carmen.
In a separate Instagram post, Bianca’s cager husband thanked the TV host for the “beautiful surprise”.
Bianca penned a sweet explanation as to why they decided to renew their vows, admitting it may seem a bit “soon” but for them, it felt like the right time.
“We felt it was the perfect time to be reminded of what marriage is and how we can continue to nurture our relationship as husband and wife,” she said.
“JC and I aren’t really big on gift-giving, so we felt this was the best way for us to celebrate our fifth year,” she added.
Bianca reflected on how time made their vows more realistic, unlike their vows five years ago which she admitted were “said through rose-tinted specs.”
“Our vows today after five years and two kids were more rooted and real,” she said.
She ended her post addressing JC: “Mahal, like I said five years ago, may we both never forget the feeling of our wedding day, and may we both never forget the feeling today.”
