Bangs Garcia says being a ‘fitness freak’ helped her achieve fit postpartum body


Bangs Garcia shared the secret to how she shed off weight just two months after giving birth to her second daughter. 

On Instagram, she stunned her followers after sharing her fit post-baby body. 

“Working out on your path to pregnancy and during pregnancy does wonders for you and your future baby,” she wrote. 

Bangs looked back on her “fitness freak” days in 2014 to 2016, and how her constant exercising paid off now that she’s a mother of two. 

“My first pregnancy took place in March 2017 and I’ve migrated here in the UK two months before I gave birth. Since then, I haven’t been to the gym but it didn’t stop me from working out a few months after I gave birth whenever time permitted me at home,” she said. 

She continued on to advise aspiring moms on Instagram to have a fitness routine even before they’re pregnant so that their bodies can carry the baby with ease. 

“You don’t necessarily need to go to the gym, you only need to stay active throughout your pregnancy even if it’s just walking in the woods, gardening or housework, anything that gets your heart pumping most days of the week,” she added.  

Bangs encouraged her fellow mothers that while motivating yourself to execute the exercises at home, self-discipline and balance is the key. 

The former actress and her Filipino-British husband Lloyd Birchmore welcomed their newest addition to their family last July 21. 

Just a year after they tied the knot with a civil wedding in England, she gave birth to their eldest child Amelia.
