South Korean singer Park Bo Ram dies at 30

South Korean singer Park Bo Ram has passed away. She was 30 years old. 

According to a report by Soompi, Bo Ram’s agency XANADU Entertainment confirmed the sudden demise of the singer on the evening of Aprill 11. 

“It’s true that Park Bo Ram died on April 11,” XANADU said in a statement adding that the cause of her death is still under investigation.

The report added that Bo Ram’s untimely death came amid her preparations for a comeback for her 10th debut anniversary celebration.

Bo Ram first appeared on Mnet’s talent show “Superstar K2” in 2010 before making her official debut in 2014 with hit song “Beautiflul”. 

The late singer is the voice behind the soundtracks of K-drama hits such as “Playful Kiss”, “Reply 1988”, ‘W”, and “Prison Playbook”, among others.
