Bea Alonzo marks anniversary of I Am Hope charity organization

It’s already been a year since Bea Alonzo and her friends started a charity drive for medical frontliners that  turned into a full-fledged charity organization called I Am Hope Org.

On Instagram, the actress marked this milestone of over a year of helping out their kababayans.

“It has been a year of hard work, commitment, and dedication to continuously extend help to those in need. We wouldn’t have reached this far without the help of our friends, volunteers, brand partners and donors. A million thanks to you all,” she wrote.

Along with her message of gratitude, Bea had a special shoutout for her friends — May, the operations manager and Rina Navarro, their co-founder — who worked hand in hand with her for their organization.

“As I’ve said before, we are in this for the long haul and we are just getting started,” she wrote.

It was in March 8, the same day as International Women’s Day that the group celebrated their one year together.

For the year of 2021, I Am Hope kickstarted their operations with goodies and ham for the kids at Children’s Village in Alabang and FAAI Outreach for Children in Marikina.

Back in May of last year, they were able to raise over P9 million for COVID-19 frontliners.
