Actor Daniel Padilla celebrated his birthday in advance with the momshies of Magandang Buhay.
He shared with the hosts, including his mom Karla Estrada, that the secret to his “solid” relationship with Kathryn Bernardo is respect and their choice to stay together despite difficulties.
“Respect towards your partner. I think yun yung isa sa mga pinaka importante is yung respeto sa isa’t isa,” he said.
He added that they are both aware that there is no such thing as a perfect relationship. This is why they strive to stay with each other despite the rough patches they have encountered in their relationship.
“We choose to stay every time. Pag nagkaka problema kami, ako palagi ko na lang binabalikan all the things na ginawa ni Kathryn para sa akin,” he said.
Padilla added that he looks back on how the actress and perennial love team partner has changed his life.
“It’s a give and take. Give and take ang isang relationship, di pwedeng umiikot sa isang tao,” he ended.
Padilla is celebrating his 25th birthday on Sunday, April 26.
