After eight years, close friends Kim Chiu and Beauty Gonzales finally reunited in Rome for Sunday noontime show, ASAP Natin ‘To.
The two were part of “ChiuRiGoGoBaShu”, their barkada composed of Melissa Ricks, Erich Gonzales, Kitkat Banas and Empress Schuck.
Through the years though, the girl friends drifted apart even if they belong to the same network.
Kim Chiu took to Instagram to share how good it felt to reunite with Beauty.
“After 8 years finally got the chance to catch up with @beauty_gonzales grabe!!!!” she posted along with their photo.
Addressing Beauty in Cebuano, Kim also wrote that she doesn’t know why it took so long for them to talk to each other again.
Both speak the language because Kim hails from Cebu while Beauty is from nearby Dumaguete City.
“Super happy for you Beauts!!! Glad we had this time,” she added.
The Kadenang Ginto star wrote a heartfelt message for her long-standing friend as well.
“Met @chinitaprincess many many moons ago when were just young carefree gals finding our way in this industry, although we had our share of laughs and reckless adventures, somehow, inexplicably, we drifted apart,” she wrote.
“Then suddenly, now as Women of the world, I am cheek to cheek again with this lovely lady and it feels great. It feels right. I am hoping this time things will be different, that circumstance, effort and magic will conspire to ensure that this time, it’s for real. Hanggang lola na tayo,” she added.
