Vickie Rushton enrolls in TESDA online programs to pass the time during lockdown

“It feels so good to do something productive while on quarantine.”

Beauty queen and former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Vickie Rushton is keeping busy with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority’s (TESDA) online programs while Luzon is still under the enhanced community quarantine.

On social media, she proudly announced that she has finished her third online course. Rushton said she has already taken Agriculture, Entrepreneurship and 21st Century Skills courses since she started back on April 13.

Rushton said the 68 available and free online courses are “useful and timely.” Such as her agriculture course which taught her the importance of having a sustainable or survival garden in one’s backyard.

“Since the ECQ has been extended until May 15, I thought of sharing this with you,” she said.

TESDA launched their free online programs on March 24.
