Policemen replace this hardworking guard’s small bike with brand-new one

A hardworking security guard using a kiddie bicycle as mode of transportation to work has received a brand-new one that fits him from a group of policemen in Sta. Maria, Bulacan.

The Santa Maria Police Station shared in a Facebook post that while manning the quarantine checkpoint in Brgy. Pulong Buhangin last August 6, Police Staff Sergeant Melvin Rogero noticed Victor de Guzman struggling to ride the small bicycle with only his slippers used as brake.

On August 11, Rogero and his fellow cops stopped de Guzman to surprise him with a mountain bike which they had pooled money together to purchase.

The post added that Rogero admired the dedication of De Guzman who travels almost 10 kilometers daily from his home in Sta. Maria to Norzagaray, Bulacan just to be able to provide for his family.
