While others commented on how she has sold millions of books already but she can’t take a joke.

Early today, “Lang Leav” sat at the 10th spot of Twitter Philippines’ top trending list.

The international best-selling author is known to have a Filipino following that she was brought to the country at least four times — latest was in 2019 — for book tours.

After the onslaught of Typhoon Ulysses, Lang took to social media to ask her followers to donate to the Philippine Red Cross’ relief operations for the victims of the typhoon.

“I have visited the Philippines on many occasions and each time I’ve been shown such warmth and kindness. If you’re in a position to help, please do,” she said.
