The theme park which brought excitement and smiles to many was also a go-to place for people who want to celebrate and hold special occasions. Star City became “a thing” for field trips and the Christmas season.

Authorities are eyeing electrical overload and possible arson likely caused the fire, a Star report said.

Around the same time, a cryptic tweet posted three days before the fire which read “Star City is dying” caused a stir on social media.

However, the certain “12Designs” Twitter user later on deleted his post to stop netizens from thinking that he had predicted the misfortune. He also cleared that the Star City he was referring to was from a TV series.

Due to the huge damage from the fire, the amusement park will be temporarily closed and estimated to reopen in October 2020 after repairs and reconstruction.

It may be farewell for now, but young and old people eagerly look forward to seeing Star City light up again.
