Andrea Brillantes has penned a very special birthday message for her late grandfather, whom she lovingly described as the “guy who set my standards so high.”
On Instagram, the young actress wrote about her Daddy Jun’s huge influence in her life.
“I often say that Men always disappoint me but you are an exception because you were a great guy. Not only that, but you were the best husband and lolo to my lola and my siblings.
“Even if you’re not physically here by my side anymore, I still thank God everyday because he gave me the best Grandfather I could ever ask for,” she said.
She then expressed that she wished her grandfather was still with them now that she was able to have a house built for her family.
“Not a day goes by that I don’t think of you, I miss you so much… I still wish you were with us with our new house… Happy Birthday in Heaven Daddy Jun,” she ended.
Early January, Andrea shared that she finally fulfilled her dream home for her family. The 17-year-old shared a photo of her walking into her beautiful three-storey home on social media.
“You were my longest (10 years) and most difficult dream to come true,” she wrote.
