Just recently, Bea Alonzo channeled her inner Basha, her artistically-inclined character in the hit film One More Chance, when she tried her hand at a new hobby — painting.
In an Instagram post, the actress revealed she has turned to the visual arts as her creative outlet, especially now that she has not been acting.
“Trying different things in this unprecedented time. Never even thought of painting before, (don’t judge! I just started and not claiming to be good at it),” she said.
For Bea, she said, painting has been her escape.
“Since I haven’t been acting for quite some time now because of the pandemic, I thought, I should find an outlet for my creativity. It’s nice. It makes my heart happy,” she wrote.
During the pandemic, the Kapamilya actress has also been focused on her charity drive with her friends Vhong Navarro, Rina Navarro, Tricia Canilao and May Militante.
Last May 29, their initiative raised over P9,072,267 for the benefit of healthcare workers and communities in need.
In an Instagram video, she shared that their project has already benefited 44 hospitals and 36 communities.
