Dubai-based Filipino fashion designer Michael Cinco created fashion-forward personal protective equipment (PPEs) for the United Arab Emirates’ COVID-19 frontliners.
In an Instagram post, Cinco featured a plain protection lab gown that legitimately looks runway ready!
He shared that Michael Cinco Couture has joined the Arab Fashion Council and the Dubai Health Authority’s project #AThread4Cause.
The #Thread4Cause initiative aims to band together Dubai’s fashion designers in creating protective gear for their heroes in the medical field.
“This is our own small way of serving the Dubai community and giving back gratitude to the UAE government,” he wrote.
In a separate post, he was joined by his business partner Sayed Ali in supervising the making of their protection gowns, coveralls and other PPE essentials.
Cinco is best known for couture masterpieces donned by some of the brightest stars in Hollywood such as Jennifer Lopez, Sofia Vergara and Mila Kunis.
