A man from Lucena City, Quezon thought that he would have an ordinary carwash day last Dec. 9, 2021. However, little did he know that he would make some people happy by simply letting them not just take a photo but also experience his sports car.
And their reaction was definitely priceless.
“Pagdating ko pa lang lahat sila nakangiti na kumbaga po ba ay naamaze po sila tapos nag uunahan po sila kung sino ang magkacarwash. Sinabi po nung isa ‘pre picturan mo ako dito first time ko maglinis ng ganto di ko to malilimutan,’” owner Marcuz Andrie Abadilla recalled.
When 22-year-old Abadilla overheard their conversation, he then approached them and told them that they can take a picture with the car.
After they took several photos inside the car, they were also given a chance to rev the engine of the sports car.
Abadilla said that was that first time he visited that carwash shop but noted they were not the first individuals who asked for a picture beside his car.
He shared that he always allows random individuals to take a photo of his car because just like them, he once dreamt of having a sports car.
“Ayun po tuwang tuwa sila ‘yun pong pagkasaya nila natuwa ako kasi ganun din po ako dati kasi naalala ko tamang tingin din lang ako patagong nag papapicture dun sa crush kong sasakyan tas ayun po habang pinipicturan ko sila at vinivideo ako’y tuwang tuwa po kasi kita ko po sila masaya sila,” he shared.
“[Minsan] bigla na lang po may lalapit kung pwede daw po ba sila magpapicture tapos ayun po minsan ako po taga picture hehe tapos sasabihin po nila sakin na ‘yun daw po ‘yung dream car nila,” he added.
Abadilla also recalled that a few years back, he gets shy whenever he would approach an owner of a sports car for a picture.
“Dati po ako lagi patago magpapicture kasi nakakahiya nga po sa may ari ako po ni-level up ko po ‘yung experience na ipadama sakanila ano pong feeling,” he said.
Meanwhile, the carwash boys expressed outmost gratitude to him for letting them experience his car: “‘Yung mga reaksyon po nila ay talagang ineexpress nila na sobrang salamat daw po first time daw po nila makapag papicture.”
“Salamat Sir!” the worker said.
“Ang sarap ng tulog ko nito sir mamaya.Thank you po!” the other carwash boy said.
Abadilla said that he was happy to know that with that simple gesture, he brought happiness to other people.
“Ayun po, bumalik po ulit ako sakanila para mag pacarwash. Since may kakayanan naman po ako na pasayahin sila para sakin,why not? Kasi kung makapagpapasaya sa simpleng paraan bakit hindi?” Abadilla noted.
In 2020, his parents surprised him with a Subaru BRZ sports car as a debut gift.
