“We’re adopting a younger brother for me.”
Celebrity doctors Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho made their daughter Scarlet Snow very happy after adopting a baby rhinoceros in Kenya.
In her Instagram post, the five-year-old explained that they decided to adopt the wild animal because its parents were killed by poachers.
“He needs our love and protections because poachers killed his parents to get their horns. So, Daddy and Mommy agreed that our family will adopt him,” she said.
Scarlet shared that she will be naming the four-year-old rhinoceros “Plasty the Belo Rhino.”
She mentioned that the money that goes into adopting “Plasty” will be used to make sure he has veterinarians and rhino rangers from the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy to keep him safe and healthy.
In her Instagram stories, Scarlet said that she has finally accomplished her mission and she is now a “rhino ranger.”
