On Friday, former Goin’ Bulilit star Bugoy Cariño and volleyball star EJ Laure revealed that they already have a child together. The revelation was made on Bugoy’s 18th birthday.
The revelation shocked many netizens with Bugoy and EJ Laure immediately rising to Twitter Philippines’ top trending list.
The two shared their news on social media. EJ shared a video montage of their family on Bugoy’s birthday.
“Happy birthday, Mahal. Thank you sa lahat ng ginawa at ginagawa mo para sa amin ni baby @iamscarletcarino! We love you so much, daddy,” she wrote.
Meanwhile, Bugoy who just turned 18, thanked his partner for her unending support.
“Happy to have a family na mahal na mahal ako. Pagsisikapan ko pong itaguyod ang blessing na ito. Thank you for your unending support and I love you both, Mommy EJ and Baby Scarlet,” he said.
Bugoy’s friends in the industry expressed their well-wishes for the young father.
In 2018, rumors regarding EJ’s pregnancy surfaced when she missed UAAP Season 80. The former UST Golden Tigresses team captain shot down these rumors, clarifying that her shoulder was injured.
