Kapamilya actress Jane De Leon took to Instagram to share her encounter with the Kapuso primetime queen Marian Rivera during a Belo event on Tuesday.
“Happy to finally meet you po @marianrivera”, Jane said along with a beaming photo of her with Marian.
The new Darna also hopes to have a project with the former Darna in the future.
“Thank you for all your kind words and sana magkawork po tayo soon!” she added.
Marian, on the other hand, shared their photo in her story.
Last July 2019, the 21-year-old actress was revealed as the new inheritor of Darna’s magical stone after Liza Soberano gave up to play the role of the iconic Filipina superhero due to an injured finger.
In an ABS-CBN report on Tuesday, Jane said she had already read the script of the film and shared excitement upon knowing that its cast is nearly complete.
