Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo recently revealed that they spent the start of the new year away from their families.
The couple shared that their family at home tested positive for COVID-19. While they were not infected with the virus, they have decided to isolate to shield Jennylyn while she’s pregnant.
On their most recent upload on YouTube, the actress shared how her husband took care of her while it was just the two of them in their condominium unit.
“Since day one na lumipat kami dito sa condo, si Dennis ang halos lahat ng gumagawa ng mga bagay dito sa condo kasi ayaw niya naman ako pakilusin,” she said.
From cooking to cleaning, Jennylyn shared that Dennis was hands-on with assisting her for the weeks they have isolated.
“Maswerte ako na kasama ko siya dito kasi at least, naaalalayan ako nang husto at naalagaan,” she gushed.
In their vlog, the two joked that they have dodged COVID-19 because of how paranoid Jennylyn was.
Dennis explained: “Di ko maintindihan minsan kasi si Jen sobrang praning, kaya siguro ngayon di pa rin kami nagkaka-COVID dahil dun siguro sa extra awareness na yun. Ngayon siguro sa panahong ‘to, okay maging praning para talaga makaiwas dun sa mga dapat iwasan.”
