Two sports idols in one frame!
Surfing champ Philmar Alipayo couldn’t help but share the moment he met Olympian skater Margielyn Didal at a surfing event in Eastern Samar.
The two athletes were present for the Philippines Surfing Championship Tour in Borongan City.
“PH pride! Salamat karajaw dol @margielyndidal,” Philmar wrote in the caption of his post.
Meanwhile, Didal shared a snap of her with the champion surfer, expressing her gratitude for their photo together.
“Salamat idol @chepoxz sa pic,” she wrote in the caption.
The 22-year-old street skateboarder was recently declared an Adopted Citizen of Borongan City. On the official Facebook page of Surf in the City, it was explained that Didal’s title was given to honor her for her “unyielding resilience and sportsmanship” in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
