Candy Pangilinan shares touching story from son Quentin’s first day of class

Candy Pangilinan is the luckiest mom with her son Quentin.

On social media, the celebrity mom shared a heartwarming anecdote that encourages being sensitive to the needs of our loved ones.

The actress-comedian shared that she finally bought a new laptop for her son since he was only borrowing someone else’s tablet for online schooling.

“When he saw that I like his new laptop, sabi niya… ‘Mom, yours na lang my laptop. That’s your reward for being good. Exchange na lang tayo. I can have your old laptop.’

“Hay! Thank you Lord for a wonderful blessing,” she wrote.

For Candy, this touching moment was proof that sensitivity “warms the heart of the people around you”.

“We need to be sensitives to the needs of the people around us. Let’s start with our family members,” she ended.

It was in May when Candy opened up about life as a single mom, raising a child with special needs.

In her interview with Toni Gonzaga, she shared that having Quentin was never a challenge but her ticket to heaven.

“Kasi grabe yung tinuro niya sa akin, yung pasensya, yung tolerance, tsaka yung to live simply. Yung ang simple na buhay sobrang siyang grateful and appreciative of simple things,” she said.
