For a long time, Julia Montes has kept her lips sealed about her personal life.
Recently, the actress has finally broken her silence on how her heart has been doing these past years.
Julia made the big revelation about her relationship status in an interview with G3 San Diego for Mega Entertainment.
When asked if she was in love, the 26-year-old didn’t seem to hesitate.
“Yes,” she replied.
Julia then explained that she’s only protecting her own happiness that’s why she’s been private about her personal life.
“This time, gusto ko, no pressure from other people. Growing up, ang dami ng pressure. Pero ‘yung lumaki ka sa children’s show na parang siyempre lumalaki kaming may mga pressures, gusto ko sa aspeto ng buhay ko na ‘to walang pressure,” she said.
She added that her relationship was never a secret. Her and her partner’s privacy, she said, was their personal decision.
For years, Julia has been romantically linked with actor Coco Martin.
Back in March, the rumored couple were said to be spotted lining up at the airport on their way to the island destination of Boracay.
It was in 2018 when Julia took an indefinite leave from showbiz and flew to Germany to spend time with her biological father.
Rumors of her being pregnant with Coco’s child was the alleged reason why she stayed away from the limelight.
Julia’s talent agency, Cornerstone, denied the rumors.
