K-pop star Minzy is now a Viva artist

Former 2NE1 member Gong Minji, popularly known as Minzy, is about to launch her solo career in the Philippines.

Talent management group Viva Artists Agency welcomed the 26-year-old K-pop star as the latest addition to their family via social media posts on Friday.

“MABUHAY, Minzy! ⭐ We are happy to announce that Korean star, Minzy, is the newest addition to our growing roster of talented artists,” wrote Viva Artists Agency, which also runs the careers of Sarah Geronimo, Anne Curtis, Billy Crawford, among others.

Dubbed by fans as the “dancing machine,” Minzy debuted as part of the now-disbanded girl group 2NE1 in 2009 along with Sandara Park. She left her agency YG Entertainment in 2016 and has since been promoted as a solo artist.

Minzy is set to make her Philippine debut with the release of the Tagalog version of her solo track Lovely on November 20.

Minzy’s career in the country will be handled by Viva Artists Agency in collaboration with Open Door Artist Management and MZ entertainment.
