Kid gains 100K YouTube subscribers overnight after viral ‘Happy 2 subscribers’ post

A nine-year-old girl from Bacolod, Negros Occidental, who went viral after celebrating her two subscribers on YouTube, has now more reasons to celebrate.

On Monday, aspiring vlogger Mary Grace Escober took to Facebook to share her happiness over having two subscribers on YouTube, posting photos of herself and the little food she prepared to mark her milestone. 

“Happy 2 subsciber(s). Subscribe to my channel (https://bit.ly/3nO1nlk),” wrote Mary Grace on Facebook. 

Little did she know though that her Facebook post quickly made rounds online, with her subscribers simultaneously growing in number.

As of writing, her Facebook post has garnered over 200,000 reactions and has been shared more than 80,0000 times after netizens were delighted that she found her “little achievement” worth celebrating.

“Kasi na appreciate ko po yung dalawang subscribers ko masaya na po ako dahil sa kanila,” said Mary Grace, who started her YouTube channel just four months ago. 

Mary Grace later on posted another set of photos with her family holding balloons that read 100K to mark her 100,000 subscribers. 

“Sobrang masaya po at hindi ko po inaasahan na ganoon kabilis ang pag dami ng subscribers ko,” Mary Grace told STAR’s Latestchika. 

When asked why she wanted to become a vlogger, Mary Grace simply answered: “Dahil gusto ko pong magpasaya ng tao.” 

The youngster, who is a fan of popular local vloggers Ranz Kyle, Niana and Zeinab, shared that her subscribers can look forward to content about her everyday life.
