Bea Alonzo admits she’s dating again

Bea Alonzo admitted that she is dating again more than a year after her controversial breakup with Gerald Anderson.

When asked by a fan how’s the state of her heart nowadays, the 32-year-old actress said in her latest vlog, “Okay naman siya. Nag-e-entertain siya. Nag-de-date siya. Open siya maging masaya.”

Bea didn’t say who she’s dating and if she’s dating that person exclusively but it’s been rumored that she’s been seeing actor Dominic Roque.

The actor-model further sparked rumors after posting last July a photo of him with Bea in a restaurant from a “group trip” to Japan late 2019. Dominic’s caption read: “Tila ako’y nabibighani.”

One thing is for sure, the next person Bea will fall in love with is “a guy who’s madly in love with me.”

She also said in her vlog that saw her reading and answering her fans’ biggest questions, “Dati sinasabi ko lagi mahal ko kasi di ba siempre yun talaga magdadala ng totoong kaligayahan sayo kapag mahal mo.

“Pero alam mo parang naniniwala na ako sa sinabi ng Nanay ko na mas magiging tunay na masaya ka at magtatagal ang isang relasyon pag pipili ka ng isang taong mas mahal ka kesa mas mahal mo.”

Bea also answered several questions that alluded to her last relationship and headline-grabbing breakup with Gerald who was then linked to Julia Barretto.

“That I am stronger than I think. That I am resilient. That I can survive anything in life. That I am worthy,” she replied when asked what her previous relationship taught her.

Bea admitted that the heartbreak caused by that relationship was the latest among the most important “turning points” in her life.

“Right now, I’m fixing beginnings, and I’m actually very excited for what’s in store for me and every day I am learning. There is this intention to be better and I pray that this day would bring me more lessons, more wisdom,” she shared.

“I guess the point of having turning points and the point of all the heartbreaks or the trials that you have is just to become a better person. And just be mindful of all the learnings that you got from the past heartbreaks or the past trials of your life,” she added.

When asked to give advice to fans going through heartbreak themselves, Bea said, “Just do. It won’t come instantly. It won’t be easy. But you just have to take it one day at a time. Just acknowledge your feelings.

“If you’re still not OK, if you’ve not yet forgiven the person that hurt you, it’s OK because that day will come. Just trust the process. Kasi sometimes you get caught up in a situation where parang feeling mo it’s so painful and parang di mo kaya so you go back to stage 1.

“Personally, yun ang nangyari. But I didn’t trust myself that I could do it. And na-realize ko na kung inacknowledge ko yung feeling na vulnerable ako, that I need help from friends and family, baka mas nalagpasan ko siya earlier. Baka na discount ko yung masasakit na yugto ng buhay ko. But, of course, I had to learn the hard way but kung maiiwasan naman sana maiwasan mo.”
