Netizen shares heartwarming reward for small act of kindness to less fortunate

A certain Jaella Rubia shared this message on Facebook along with heartwarming photos of an old man flashing a big smile after she gave him food to eat.

Rubia narrated that she and a companion were at an overpass in Sauyo Novaliches when she noticed an old man rummaging through a plastic bag for food and looking about to burst into tears due to hunger.

Feeling sorry for the man, Rubia bought him food and gave him a P20 peso bill.

Rubio recalled feeling overwhelmed from the old man’s reaction as he was extremely grateful for her simple act of kindness.

Sinabi nya pa, ‘Salamat sa bente may pambili nakong bigas.’ So, ayun nasabi ko nalang na, okay lang ba sya na ayun lang nakayanan kong ibigay pantawid gutom lang talaga,” said Rubio.

Rubio said she was further touched when the man gave her a big smile in return for her generosity.

Netizens were equally touched by the uploader’s post, which has since gone viral, getting over 4,000 reactions and 5,000 shares.
