Bayanihan Musikan, a COVID-19 fundraiser campaign spearheaded by National Artist for Music Ryan Cayabyab, is having its final show tonight.
Dubbed Pasasalamat sa Taumbayan, the finale will be held “in gratitude for the incredible, sustained pakikipag-kapwa-tao of Filipinos everywhere.”
OPM artists such as Parokya ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda, Ebe Dancel, Noel Cabangon, Louie Ocampo, Mike Villegas, Bayang Barrios, Yumi Lacsamana and Kate Torralba will be gracing the online farewell and thanksgiving event.
“Mr. Pure Energy” Gary Valenciano will also hold an encore concert with special guests Zsa Zsa Padilla and the Zamora brothers of the Manoeuvres.
Launched in April, the project aimed to raise funds in efforts to respond to the COVID-19 crisis in the country. According to a post on their Facebook page, the project has collectively raised over P100M for food and health support for urban poor communities across Metro Manila.
