Ara Mina bakes sweet treats for COVID-19 frontliners

Ara Mina is helping out frontliners in her own way by sending them food that she baked herself.

The 40-year-old actress who owns a café business said that they were able to bring sweet treats like cupcakes and cakes to healthcare workers, police and military officers in Pasig Doctors Medical Center, AFP Medical Center, Angeles Pampanga Police Station 5 and San Mateo Rizal checkpoint.

“Eto lang mahe-help ko somehow sa frontliners natin, simpleng desserts na I baked from the heart para naman magka-energy sila,” she wrote in the photos shared on Instagram.

“Just a little something for our heroes. Thank you to our frontliners, we salute you! ?,” she added.

She and her business partner were also able to give out groceries to their employees.

Ara said she is also thinking of other ways to help during the lockdown.

“Tulungan lang po tayo hangga’t sa makakaya. We’re giving our best effort. Donating also to some friends na nagreraise ng funds. Still thinking of how we can help pa while still working from home for @hazelberryofficial para kahit papaano may maitulong pa tayo sa ating kapwa. We can do this everyone! ???”
