Gina Jorge Cobarrubias, wife of the late veteran actor Menggie Cobarrubias, is now on her way to recovery after surviving the battle against COVID-19.
Gina made the announcement herself via a Facebook post on Monday, April 13.
“Praise the Lord! I am now a (COVID-19) survivor,” she said.
She also expressed gratitude to the people who offered prayers, love and support in her fight against the highly-contagious disease.
She requested to ask for more prayers for her full recovery.
“This is a long and difficult road to recovery. I would be needing more prayer warriors to be able to have the strength to fight this disease. Again, maraming salamat sa inyong lahat,” she said.
Gina lost his husband to the deadly virus last March 26. He died while awaiting for his test results which later turned out to be positive.
