‘Salamat sa Kabayanihan’: Different faces of COVID-19 frontliners in QC tribute video

The local government of Quezon City created a tribute video to honor the frontliners who are our heroes in this time of crisis.

The three-minute video shows healthcare workers, soldiers, janitors and local government workers on the line of duty while Para sa Bayan, written and produced by veteran composer Vehnee Saturno, plays in the background.

The video also featured garbage collectors who also play an important part in contracting the coronavirus disease.

The video reminded the public that we become each other’s heroes with the little sacrifices that we make in helping the country’s battle against the current pandemic.

As of Tuesday, April 14, Quezon City has 942 confirmed cases with 60 fatalities, and 64 recoveries.
