Bea Alonzo, I am Hope organization extend help to COVID-19 frontliners

Bea Alonzo is extending help to COVID-19 frontliners by donating medical equipment and providing food packs.

The Kapamilya actress along with her close friends Tricia Canilao, Rina Navarro and Lucille Sering launched the I Am Hope organization to show that “we stand behind the frontliners in the battle against COVID-19”.

On Tuesday, Bea shared photos of the volunteers of the organization giving out face shields, vitamins, ube cheese pandesal, canned goods, noodles, spreads and masks for the frontliners.

San Lazaro Hospital, Kidney and Dialysis Center and FAAI Community Outreach for Children were among the charity drive’s beneficiaries.

Bea added that they were able to give out relief goods and face masks to the frontliners of Mandaluyong City “so they won’t have to go to the grocery store anymore and just carry on with helping the community”.

It’s Showtime host Vhong Navarro also joined the outreach.

“Kulang ang lahat ng ito para sa sakripisyo ng ating frontliners! Mabuhay kayo! ??”, wrote Bea.

The team earlier created DIY face shields for the COVID-19 frontliners.
