Netizens, particularly residents of Pateros, expressed satisfaction at how their municipality has handled the distribution of relief goods amid the COVID-19 enhanced community quarantine covering Luzon.
Some people of Pateros who have already received relief goods took to social media to thank their local government.
Residents are given a box containing 14 canned goods, 12 packs of noodles, 20 sachets of coffee, biscuits and six kilograms of rice. Also placed inside is a letter with a list of the relief items.
A certain Christian Lopez made an appreciation post thanking Pateros Mayor Ike Ponce and his team for being able to provide relief goods despite Pateros being the “smallest LGU in Metro Manila.”
Thankful netizens also “flexed” what they received from the local government.
Residents are told to put out chairs outside their homes where the relief goods are placed to avoid contact.
Mayor Ike Ponce told residents who have not received their relief goods to wait for their turn and assured that distribution is underway.
