Kim Chiu says ‘none of us have symptoms’ amid Christopher de Leon’s COVID-19 diagnosis

Kim Chiu assured fans on Wednesday that none of the Love Thy Woman cast and crew, who worked closely with Christopher de Leon the past days, exhibited COVID-19 symptoms. The veteran actor shocked the showbiz community on Tuesday with the announcement that he tested positive for the virus.

Nevertheless, Kim said on Instagram that they were told by their bosses at ABS-CBN to observe self-quarantine and watch out for symptoms.

“Amidst of what happened to tito bo @sgt.pepper8 ??. For those asking….. Here we are, our ABSCBN bosses assuring us and checking on us the entire #LoveThyWoman staff, directors and artists who worked with tito bo the past days. Thank you Dra. Susan Mercado of presidential envoy on global health for briefing us properly.

“NONE of US has the symptoms but we must check ourselves from time to time. Thank you for assuring us that we will be ok. ??❤️ thank you for the explanation and for taking out our fear.”

She believes that self-quarantine and boosting the immune system as key to combat the virus, and of course, prayers.

“We continue to pray for each other and for the entire nation. Hindi basta basta nabibigay ang mga test kits since PH only got few, self quarantine is the key and boost our immune system. Kaya natin to! This too shall pass!?? praying for you tito bo!!!?? malalampasan mo to papa adam!❤️??❤️ thank you #LoveThyWoman family? We will comeback STRONGER than ever!??❤️.”

The teleserye is on a break in line with the imposition of the enhanced community quarantine on the entire island of Luzon.
