Will Gazini Ganados ask for an interpreter at the Miss Universe Q&A?

Philippine bet Gazini Ganados is considering of having a translator present at the most-awaited portion of the Miss Universe pageant — the Q&A.

In an interview with ABS-CBN, the beauty queen shared why she might request for an interpreter for the coronation night.

“I will think about it. Kasi I would like to showcase the Bisaya language in an international arena,” Gazini shared.

“Of course, I’m a proud Bisaya myself…But then again, I have to reconsider because not all people can understand that language. So, I will reconsider that po,” she added.

Gazini hails from Talisay, Cebu where she was raised by her single mom and her grandparents.

In another interview, former Miss Universe Universe Gloria Diaz said she sees no problem in having an interpreter for the event.

“If that’s what will make them comfortable… And, you know, when you have an interpreter, you have one minute to breathe. So…that’s a plus,” she shared.

Gazini is currently in Atlanta, Georgia as she and other Miss Universe contestants prepare for the big night.

Fans can help Gazini secure a spot in the Miss Universe Top 20 if she gets the most votes through the pageant’s website.

Tickets to the international beauty pageant have already been sold out. The most prestigious pageant happens on December 9 at 8 am (Philippine time) in Atlanta Georgia.
