WATCH: Duterte, Bato, Phl Arena crowd can’t help but dance to ‘Manila’ at SEA Games opening

Everyone inside the Philippine Arena seemed to be overwhelmed with excitement by the impressive opening ceremony of the 2019 Southeast Asian (SEA) Games Saturday night.

During the parade of the Philippine delegates, the classic OPM hit Manila by Hotdog was played in the background which got every Filipino dancing and singing as one. Even President Duterte and Senator Ronad “Bato” Dela Rosa were no exception.

The President low-key grooved to Manila, waving and clapping his hands as he cheered for the Filipino athletes. And every time the camera was on him, the crowd would get wilder, cheers would go louder.

On the other hand, a jolly “Bato” was seen chicken-dancing to the song. You can tell he got all hyped-up.

Here are some of the reactions from netizens.
