YG Entertainment plans early 2020 comeback for Blackpink

Blackpink will be coming back in your area early in 2020, YG Entertainment confirmed on Friday.

Korean media outlet News1 first reported that the global Kpop girl group has begun recording a new song for a comeback early next year. The report was also posted on YG Entertainment’s official website.

“The exact date is not yet set, but we are aiming to come back early next year,” an official of YG Entertainment was quoted as saying.

This will be the group’s return to the scene after its hit song Kill This Love was released April this year.

Earlier this month, Blinks were devastated after YG Entertainment announced that the Kpop quartet will be delaying its comeback until next year.

The #BLACKPINKLEAVEYG even trended on Twitter, with fans urging Lisa, Jennie, Jisoo and Rose to leave their label company due to alleged poor promotion amid their global success, and a series of highly-publicized controversies involving its other artists.

The group had been steady in hitting millions of views on YouTube, may it be a music video or a dance practice. They even made history after Ddu-du Ddu-du surpassed 1 billion YouTube views, became the first-ever Kpop act to perform in Coachella, and were even included in TIME magazine’s 100 Next list.
