Bretman Rock upset with behavior of fans at father’s funeral

Internet star Bretman Rock got dismayed with fans who came to his father’s funeral uninvited and asked to have photos with him and his family.

The YouTuber, who was spotted in Laoag, Ilocos Norte early this week, aired his disappointment via Twitter on Thursday night.

“Can people just let me be sad for (once)… I’m here in the Philippines for my dad who just passed, don’t come to my house and ask me for pictures… So many people showed up to my (dad’s) funeral uninvited and started taking pics of my dad and my family,” he said.

Bretman questioned why they would do such a thing when it’s supposed to be “common sense” not to bother people who are in mourning.

“I just don’t understand why people think it’s okay to ask me for pictures when my eyes are literally swollen from crying … How you gonna say ‘Condolences, can we take a picture?’”

Netizens trooped to his tweet, feeling sorry for the insensitive behavior of his Pinoy fans.

On November 6, the beauty vlogger first tweeted that his father fell into a coma. The following day, he tweeted heart and dove emojis.

Bretman Rock was born in the Philippines but was raised in Hawaii.

He, along with sister Princess Mae, returned to their homeland earlier this week to attend their father’s funeral.

Aside from his impressive makeup skills, the internet favorite who has a huge following is also known for his sense of humor and sassy persona.

Earlier this month, he won Beauty Influencer of 2019 at the E! People’s Choice Awards, which he dedicated to his late father.
