Pastor Quiboloy to Vice Ganda: Challenge is accepted

“The challenge is accepted, but hindi ako magsasalita, hihintayin ko na lang.”

During the live episode of his program Spotlight on Sonshine Media Network International (SMNI) Thursday night, Kingdom of Jesus Christ founder Pastor Apollo Quiboloy has accepted TV host-actor Vice Ganda’s dare to stop the infamous EDSA traffic and long-running ABS-CBN series Ang Probinsyano.

The religious leader had the chance to give his statement during the Q and A portion of his program, when a netizen asked for his reaction on the It’s Showtime host’s controversial “joke” during the Tawag ng Tanghalan segment of the noontime show.

On stopping the traffic problem along EDSA, Quiboloy retorted, “Ipa-stop ko daw ang traffic sa EDSA eh mag-isip ka muna bago ka magsalita. Paano kung nai-stop ang naka-stop na. Hindi na kumikilos. Siguro ang dapat mong sinabi, flow of traffic, make it faster. Tuloy, traffic. Tuloy-tuloy wag hihinto.”

“Paano ma-stop kung naka-stop na. Eh kung gusto mo, hindi nakikilos yan, magiging parking lot ng EDSA na yan. Mas lalala,” he added.

He also hit back at Vice challenging him to put an end to the three-year TV show: “Kailan mo ba gusto mapa-stop ang Probinsyano? Isang buwan, dalawang buwan, tatlong buwan, apat na buwan? Ikaw pili ka? Baka sa apat na buwan hindi lang ‘yung Probinsiyano ang ma-stop. Baka pati yung network mo stop na ‘yan.”

Vice Ganda’s challenge went viral after he made a joke in reaction to Quiboloy’s claim that he personally halted the 6.6 earthquake that struck areas in Central Mindanao and Davao region last October 30.

Earlier, broadcaster and personal friend of the pastor Mike Abe lashed out at the Unkabogable star.
