Uh-oh, this one’s probably not Jeffree Star approved.
American beauty guru and cosmetics line owner Jeffree Star got savage (again) on Filipina beauty vlogger Michelle Dy when he called her newly launched makeup line “trash”.
A certain Twitter user on Tuesday asked Star to make an “honest review” of Dy’s makeup collection named Michelle Dy Basics, which was launched last October 25.
“I don’t have time to review trash on my YouTube channel!” Star responded.
Although no name was mentioned, Dy appeared to have responded with a tweet, “I’m good luv, enjoy,” with a moon emoji on it, an hour after Star replied to the tweet.
This is the second time that Dy got dissed by Star. The two already caused an online stir in 2018.
Michelle Dy back then launched two videos on her YouTube channel titled MD Approved Series, which she claimed were inspired by Jeffree Star’s.
It can be recalled that Star went on a Snapchat rant that called out an “unnamed Pinay vlogger” for allegedly stealing his copyrighted “Jeffree Star Approved” series, where he tries out a beauty product and seals it with his “approved” logo.
Dy afterwards deleted the “copycat” videos and apologized for her mistake.
