Fans celebrate UNIS Bang Yunha’s birthday after winning polls and awards

UNIS is an eight-member fifth generation K-pop girl group formed through the survival show, “UNIVERSE TICKET.”

The multi-national girl group consists of four Korean members: Jin Hyeonju, Bang Yunha, Oh Yoona, Lim Seowon, two Japanese members: Nana, & Kotoko, and two Filipino members: Gehlee Dangca, & Elisia Parmisano.

UNIS marked the start of their journey with their debut on March 27, 2024, alongside the release of their mini-album “We UNIS.”

Eleven months after their debut and recent comeback with the mini-album “CURIOUS,” UNIS won several awards, thanks to the incredible talents of the members and the unwavering commitment and unity of their fandom, EverAfters.

EverAfters continue to rally and dominate voting polls across multiple platforms, from international awards to local polls. What makes this achievement remarkable is that this small yet mighty fandom is able to compete with the large fanbases of 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gen K-pop groups.

Recently, UNIS won awards at the 2025 Korea First Brand Awards and the D Awards – a testament to UNIS’ rising popularity and EverAfter’s dedication.Their awards include: Rookie Female Idol and and Discovery of the Year.

Between award show voting, the fandom also celebrates the members’ birthdays by securing ads and fan projects through voting apps like JuanCast. Platforms such as JuanCast allow every fan to show their support, regardless of the time or effort spent, making every contribution count toward supporting their bias or group.

Recently, EverAfters celebrated UNIS member Yunha’s birthday with ad placements in Korea and the Philippines, fan cafes, cupsleeve events, and coffee trucks.

These projects were led by individual fans and fanbases, all completed with the support of the entire fandom. Thanks to the combined efforts of EverAfters, Yunha and the fandom were able to celebrate a grand birthday that was even more special as it marked Yunha’s first birthday as a K-pop idol.

Normally, fan projects of this scale, with a shared deadline, are difficult to accomplish due to the fanbase being divided on which projects to support and prioritize. However, that isn’t the case with the EverAfter fandom.

“Spenders” and “grinders” alike put in long hours and sleepless nights watching ads, completing tasks, and spending money to cast their votes. The success of these projects, in turn, helps further promote UNIS, expanding its visibility across both digital platforms and offline.

Whether a solo stan or an OT8 stan, EverAfters unite in these voting polls to secure numerous, even back-to-back victories. These selfless acts, driven solely by the goal of promoting UNIS and providing unwavering support, have inspired even silent and casual fans to pour more effort into supporting the group – whether through social media activities, voting apps, or album purchases.
