Heart Evangelista has reiterated that she has not undergone any surgical cosmetic procedures—except for one specific enhancement.
In a recently posted Instagram video, the socialite and fashion icon emphasized that the only cosmetic procedure she’s had was a lip enhancement.
“Lips lang ‘yung naiba. Lips lang ‘yung pinagawa ko,” Heart said laughing as a staff member showed her a throwback magazine cover of the actress.
“It’s true, I’m just saying the truth. Now if you don’t accept, well, wait for judgement day. Because this is all real except [this],” added Heart, while pointing to her lips.
Heart went on to address detractors speculating about her having plastic surgery.
“Ayaw nilang maniwala sa’kin. Alam mo, one of these days, pupunta talaga ako sa doctor, I don’t know how they can prove. Hindi talaga, mamatay man. Seryoso. Ito lang talaga,” Heart said.
Meanwhile, a fan assured Heart in the comments section: “You don’t have to prove anything to anyone Ms @iamhearte. It’s not our business to ask anyway.”
Heart also previously mentioned that her facial features are entirely natural.
“Never done anything to my face. My eyes and nose etc. were made by God. I swear,” she said in a candid Q&A with her fans on Instagram in 2020.
