Jennylyn Mercado remains a solid Kapuso

Kapuso “Ultimate Star” Jennylyn Mercado has officially renewed her contract with her home network GMA.

The actress turned emotional as she expressed joy and deep gratitude over her contract renewal and more than two decades ties with GMA, during the contract signing event on Tuesday.

“Wala naman akong ibang pupuntahan, ‘yung destination ko palaging here, palaging GMA. I can say that I am home,” said the actress.

“Actually, hindi ko alam kung tama bang sabihin na ‘I am home, am back kasi hindi naman po talaga ako nawala, para lang akong nagbakasyon.

“I am here, I am back, I am home. Kapuso pa rin tayo at taos-puso po akong nagpapasalamat sa lahat ng mga tumulong sa akin, at of course, sa GMA, sa patuloy na pagmamahal at sa patuloy na pag suporta at pagtanggap pa rin po sa akin,” furthered the 37-year-old star.

“To be here means so much. At wala po akong ibang nararamdaman kundi gratitude, pasasalamat po sa inyong lahat, stated Jennylyn as she gave a shoutout and expressed appreciation to her management, fellow actors, and family.

Jennylyn took a break from showbiz in 2021 as she and husband Dennis Trillo settled down and welcomed their first child together in 2022.

She made her acting return in 2024 through the series, “Love. Die Repeat.”

The actress is especially thrilled about her upcoming projects with the Kapuso network, including the series and movie alongside her real-life partner, Dennis Trillo.

Jennylyn grew popularity after winning as the first-ever “Ultimate Female Survivor” of reality talent search “Starstruck.”
