KC Concepcion is filled with gratitude and joy after reconciling with her mom Sharon Cuneta before the past year came to an end.
The actress turned to Instagram on December 31 to share that she had an extraordinary Christmas as all is well now between her and her mom.
“Christmas came to me this year. BEST CHRISTMAS EVER!!! Thank you 2024 for bringing my mama and I together again,” KC wrote as caption in the video showing how she spent the holidays with her mom and their furbabies.
“Perfect way to close another year. Love you dear God, your timing is really beautiful! Forever yours, my mama,” she added.
KC earlier mentioned that she’s “ending the year right” by reconnecting with her mom.
“Christmas will always be about love, laughter, and time with family for me… ending the year right with a conversation between Mama and I. She always makes the holidays extra magical and special,” she said alongside her holiday postcard.
KC, Sharon’s only child with former husband Gabby Concepcion, also expressed optimism for her good relationship with her family, particularly with her mom.
“For this year’s Christmas season, I’m taking my quiet space to pray, reflect, recharge, reset, and look forward to the blessings I know God has in store for me (and my family)! I know nanjan lang si God para samin and magiging ok ang lahat especially between my mama and me,” she furthered.
KC sparked speculations of a rift with her mom after she unfollowed her stepdad Kiko Pangilinan and half-sibling Kakie Pangilinan on Instagram in 2023.
Sharon later admitted being “very, very hurt” in a mid-2024 interview, describing her relationship with KC as “estranged.”
