Maureen Wroblewitz takes on role as Pinay beauty queen in ‘FBI: Most Wanted’ episode

Model and beauty queen Maureen Wroblewitz expands her acting career with an appearance on the popular police procedural series “FBI: Most Wanted.”

Starring Dylan McDermott, the high-stakes drama focuses on the Fugitive Task Force, an elite team that functions as a mobile undercover that relentlessly tracks and captures notorious criminals on the Bureau’s Most Wanted list.

In an episode titled “Pageantry”, Maureen played Rosa Martinez, a character who holds the title of “Miss Philippines” competing in a fictional international beauty pageant, “Miss Glamor Global.”

Its plot follows the Fugitive Task Force as they head over to Philadelphia to investigate the murder of an international beauty queen during a live TV broadcast.

Wroblewitz expressed her excitement on social media, sharing behind-the-scenes moments from the set, including photos with co-star Shannon Murphy, who portrayed Miss Canada, and a snapshot of a director’s chair featuring the series title.

“Representing the Philippines wherever I go • I was finally able to wear the Philippines sash across my heart but it’s not for what you think 👀”, Maureen wrote in her post.

Maureen previously made headlines as the first runner-up to Bea Luigi Gomez in the 2021 Miss Universe Philippines competition.

Following her Asia’s Next Top Model victory in its fifth season, she began to star in Filipino films such as “Take Me to Banaue” and “Byaheng Broken Hearted”. She also appeared in an episode of the TV series “Almost Paradise”.
