Rico Blanco has not made any statement regarding the current infidelity issue his ex-girlfriend Maris Racal is facing.
Amid the cheating allegations fueled by Anthony’s ex-girlfriend Jamela Villanueva via Instagram stories showing intimate exchanges between the actor and Maris, a satire Facebook page sharing Rico’s alleged reaction to the matter gained traction online.
Rico remained mum about his split with Maris since the actress confirmed their separation in an interview back in July.
The satirical Facebook page alleged that Rico had knowledge of Maris and Anthony’s relationship and felt that Maris changed since she started working with her onscreen partner.
“Yung kaligayahan niya na kasama ako, nawala. Yung pagiging playful niya, wala na,” read the quote on the satirical post.
“I don’t know what happened, and I was really confused. That’s when she asked me to let her be free, saying she wanted to explore kasi bata pa raw siya,” it added.
The post, which garnered more than 200,000 reactions and 30,000 shakes on Facebook also alleged that Jamela’s revelation helped Rico be enlightened on her failed relationship with Maris.
While Rico clearly remained mum on his socials, Pep’s Jojo Gabinete asked Rico for a comment on his alleged circulating statement through PAMI president June Rufino.
“No statement Tita. Fake yan!,” Rico was quoted saying in a statement to Rufino.
Rico and Maris were in a relationship for five years before calling it quits in June this year.
