Former actor John Wayne Sace arrested in connection to fatal shooting incident — report

Former actor and dancer John Wayne Sace was arrested by authorities for his alleged involvement in the fatal shooting of a man in Pasig City.

According to reports from Pasig police, aired by GMA news program Balitanghali on Tuesday afternoon, the victim was reportedly shot four times with a .45 caliber pistol around 7:30 PM in Barangay Sagad.

Police also confirmed the recovery of the firearm allegedly used in the shooting and revealed that Sace and the victim had a prior conflict that may have led to the fatal encounter.

Additionally, John Wayne’s most recent cryptic post on Facebook seemed to accuse certain individuals of secretly pushing drugs and destroying lives without remorse.

Sace also alleged they have plotted against him multiple times, including a recent attempt, and said they’ve threatened to kill his family if he tries to leave.

John Wayne was transferred to the Eastern Police District headquarters, where he underwent a paraffin test to determine more evidence of his alleged involvement in the shooting.

In October 2016, Sace made headlines after surviving an ambush in Pasig where his companion was killed. Both victims were suspected of their involvement in drug-related activities.

Sace gained popularity as a dancer on the ABS-CBN Sunday variety show ASAP and starred in the 2011 TV series “Guns and Roses.” He previously starred in “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” in 2022.
