Maymay Entrata ecstatic after being featured in Grammy original series

Maymay Entrata feels ecstatic after being featured in an episode of GRAMMY’s original series “It Goes to 11.”

The “Amakabogera” hitmaker turned to Instagram to share her experience over being invited to the Grammy Studio, counting it as one of her most unforgettable memories.

“Waaaaaaaaaah! my heart bai! I still couldn’t believe we made it to GRAMMY studio po 😭 THANK YOU SO MUCH @recordingacademy for having me po, this is definitely one of my most unforgettable memories,” wrote Maymay as caption alongside photos of her taking photo ops at the Grammy studio.

The latest episode of the “It Goes to 11” featured the former Pinoy Big Brother housemate talking about her in-ear monitors– her favorite piece of music gear.

Maymay admitted struggling to be in tune when she was just starting her music career, but having her custom in-ear monitors gave her confidence and helped her improve in singing and performing live.

She further revealed that she learned the use of in-ears from fellow artist Gary Valenciano.

She also shared her realization while working on her craft: “No magic or equipment will make u skip learning on something that you want to pursue or something that you want to be passionate about. It will always take hard work, perseverance, and patience for you to learn it.”

Maymay rose to popularity after being named the Big Winner in the seventh season of the reality show Pinoy Big Brother (PBB). Following her PBB stint, Maymay forayed into acting and singing.

The 27-year-old released her hit single “Amakabogera” in 2021 and was nominated at the MTV Europe Music Awards for Best Asia Act nominee in 2023.

She recently performed an English version of “Amakabogera” during Filipino fashion designer Leo Almodal’s runway show at the Paris Fashion Week.
