‘Cause she’s been living in a material world, but now in the married world’: Siblings compose hilarious song for cousin’s wedding

This bride from Cabanatuan City received a special and hilarious wedding gift from her cousins!

Siblings Lorryne, Andrea, and Chazity wrote a special song for their 28-year-old cousin Kathleen and performed it on her wedding day last April 14, 2024.

Usually ang common na ginagamit or kinakanta is ‘yung ‘Part of Your World’ pero nag-try kami parang patay,” Lorryne told The Philippine STAR.

Saktong kasunod ng ‘Part of Your World’ is ‘yung ‘Material Girl.’”

According to Kathleen, she did not think that her cousins would be so serious about her request. She even asked them to teach her a dance step for the reception.

Lorryne and Andrea were the ones who composed the song. They said it only took two hours to finish it.

“Wala man lang pagfi-filter na ginawa,” Kathleen said in jest.

The girls also took the opportunity to look back on the things that their Ate Kathleen did for them, both good and the bad.

Andrea added, “Kinakabahan pa ako baka baka magalit si Ate K.”

“So ‘yung mga nagko-comment sabi nila, ‘Waiting for Puklo and Bireng.’

Kidding aside, the Garcia sisters said they were happy that their Ate Kathleen finally found “The One.”

Pero masaya naman kami kasi nahanap niya na ‘yung The One for her,” Andrea noted.

As of this writing, the uploaded video on TikTok has already garnered more than 2.2 million views on social media.

Despite entering a new chapter in her life, Kathleen has a message to her cousins.
