Mommy D offers advice to Carlos Yulo amid family controversy: ‘Mahalin mo ang nanay mo’

Mommy Dionisia Pacquiao, mother of eight-division world boxing champion Manny Pacquiao, offered motherly advice to two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo amid the ongoing issues between him and his mother, Angelica.

Shortly after the celebratory heroes’ welcome parade organized for the returning Olympians in the country, Mommy D shared a piece of advice as she congratulated Yulo in a Facebook video posted by her special someone, Mike Drilon Yamson.

“Dong, Carlos Yulo, mahalin mo ang nanay mo. ‘Wag ka magkimkim ng sama ng loob,” the boxer’s mom addressed Carlos.

She added, “Mahal na mahal ka niya, ‘yan lang ang payo ko sa’yo bilang nanay.”

Recently, Yulo has been at the center of a social media storm involving his family, particularly his strained relationship with his mother.

Angelica has since spoken multiple times to clarify the issue and has already issued a public apology to her son, while Carlos has expressed his desire to keep their family matters private.
