BLACKPINK is back in our area!

BLACKPINK is set to make a highly anticipated comeback in 2025, as announced by YG Entertainment founder and executive producer Yang Hyun-suk in a recent video.

This will mark the group’s first release since their second studio album, “Born Pink,” in September 2022.

Yang also revealed that BLACKPINK will embark on another world tour in 2025, though he did not provide further details on the comeback and tour plans.

Following the expiration of their initial exclusive contracts with YG in August 2023, the members — Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa — have renewed their contracts for group activities while transferring management for individual promotions.

Jisoo, Jennie, and Lisa have each established their own management companies for their individual careers, while Rosé is managed by THEBLACKLABEL, an associate of YG Entertainment.

In the same announcement, YG Entertainment disclosed that the legendary group 2NE1 will reunite for their 15th anniversary and hold concerts.

Yang hinted at a busy year for the label in 2025, stating, “I can’t say we have specific plans yet but I think a lot of artists will be active simultaneously.”

He then concluded the video by teasing fans with the potential debut of a new group, referring to them as “Next Monsters.”

In addition to BLACKPINK and 2NE1, YG Entertainment is also home to other popular K-pop acts, including Akdong Musician, Winner, Treasure, and Babymonster.
